The Home Hunter

“Four, Three, Two…” and then the camerman points at Tiffany Hunter, the host of The Home Hunter television show which airs every Sunday at 9:00 AM on ABC channel 15. Tiffany is actually the daughter of Diane Hunter, who conceived the idea of a weekly home show over 38 years ago when Tiffany was just a baby.

The show spotlights local vendors supplying everything for the home from driveway installation, to roofing, to home warranties, and I’m proud to say we were selected some years ago to be the exclusive Realtor on the show. Each Sunday we spotlight our Open House offering for that day and I always say “I’ll be there from one to four.”

That’s right, I work the Home Hunter open house every Sunday. I like meeting the people as they come through, It keeps me current and allows me to help more folks with their real estate needs. Plus, Open House sells houses, sometimes the house I’m sitting that very day! But it goes far beyond the house I’m sitting. At any given time, we have 15 to 30 listings and when I’m at Open House, I often connect with a buyer for one of my other listings. This way, I am serving all my clients every week.

I would love it if you would tune in Sunday at 9:00AM and see the show. It’s only thirty minutes and it goes fast. The vendors who are spotlighted are all top notch. We even keep a list of Home Hunter vendors in our office because we know if Diane and Tiffany approve of them, they have to be good.

Another thought is for you to set your DVR and record the show every week. This way you can binge watch or go to the shows when you need new flooring or want to build a new swimming pool.
