Say “Sizzling Summer Selling Season” three times real fast. Yes, it’s here, the three hot months when families want to move between school years. In fact, more than one third of our annual sales occur in the summer months.
What does this mean for you? More demand. Way more demand. If you are thinking of selling, now is the best time of the year.
As I was writing this article, somebody said “Are you crazy? How can you show houses when its 110 degrees outside?”
Yes, crazy. Open Houses get twice as many people in the summer heat. Agent showings go up. People scurry from their air-conditioned car to their air-conditioned maybe future home.
That’s my total message this week. Now is the best time of year to go on the market. And if you aren’t selling, who do you know who might be? Please pass this along. Who knows, they might be waiting for fall when it’s pleasant and demand drops like a stone.
