Well, maybe not shrinking so much that we have to fight a giant spider with a straight pin, but shrinking, nonetheless.
Every Monday, I run some key Mr. Scottsdale stats and over time they tell me what’s happening. For instance, five weeks ago there were 1583 Active Listings (Homes for Sale in Scottsdale). This Monday, there were 1446. That is a drop of nine percent. So, I looked at closings (Homes Sold) 5 weeks ago there were 73. This last week, 62. That is down fifteen percent.
Is this a temporary dip or a trend? Only time will tell. Days on the Market also got a little longer, up from 108 to 118 for Actives, and up from 68 to 78 days for Solds.
