The Great Powder Room Rumble
This goes down as no matter how long you’ve been doing this – there’s something new every day.
OK, So I have a new Luxury listing on Pomelo in Mesa, where you get so much more for luxury. Like, if this home was in P.V. or North Scottsdale, it might be twice as much.
Anyway, this beautiful home has two - count ’em two - powder rooms, which I thought was a little unusual in a good way.
So, why do you have a powder room in the first place? Well, if you are entertaining and a guest asks which way is the bathroom and you don’t have a powder room (1/2 bath – just a sink and toilet – no shower or tub) then you have to direct your guests through the primary suite or a guest bedroom to a bathroom. Or you might have a hall bath with all the kid’s stuff. But if you have a powder room, you can keep the traffic away from your bedrooms. Plus, you can keep it tidy.
So, why would you have two powder rooms? Here is where I have to simply imply and let you figure it out, because the Multiple Listing Service, and about a dozen other government agencies, dictate that I cannot as a Realtor tell you why. Which is fine with me. I’m a good Realtor and I believe in full compliance and following the rules. So, I have refrained from offering any suggestion or reason for having two powder rooms.
My office has two bathrooms. Most restaurants have two bathrooms. But this house has 6 bathrooms, including the one in the guest house, three full bathrooms in the main residence, and 2 powder rooms, which I cannot tell you any more about because we follow the rules.
