The school supplies were given to the American Legion Riders, Chapter 29 under the American Legion, for donation to children who will be receiving their back to school gifts in the coming month. The American Legion is a non-profit veterans’ organization which provides services and donations to veterans and families of deployed military personnel.

The children will never know the people who so freely gave of their time and money, but they will always remember this school year …. and we will always remember the wonderful feelings we shared knowing we had helped bring a smile to a child’s face.
