The day was sunny with a crisp chill in the air, perfect for celebrating one of our favorite holidays of the year. We arrived at Capital Grill at noon and were escorted back to the private event room by their always cheery staff. The tables were trimmed with fall colored bouquets of flowers, personal seating cards and a handmade Christmas ornament all arranged to perfection. It is a Callaway tradition for everyone to stand and reveal their special list of blessings for the past year. So with often a teary eye, we shared all the things in our lives that we were thankful for on this Thanksgiving Day in 2010.
The meal was delicious, the time to relax with friends divine and most importantly the awareness of all of our blessings, large and small, was good for our souls and gave us all a renewed view and appreciation for the wonderful life we are privileged to live in America.
